410L Stainless Steel is a low-carbon martensitic stainless steel with a carbon content between 0.03% and 0.04%. It combines the corrosion resistance, high-temperature durability, and mechanical strength of 410 stainless steel with improved weldability and formability. 410L stainless steel sheet is widely used in petrochemical, food processing, medical device, and automotive industries.


In terms of mechanical properties, 410L stainless steel demonstrates excellent strength and toughness. Its tensile strength (σb) reaches at least 265 MPa, with a yield strength (σ0.2) of no less than 196 MPa, elongation (δ5) exceeding 22%, and reduction of area (ψ) up to 60%. Its hardness is typically controlled at ≤183HB, ensuring stability under pressure and impact.

For heat treatment, annealing at temperatures between 700–820°C is recommended, followed by air cooling or slow cooling to achieve optimal microstructure. Its ferritic structure provides good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
