316L stainless steel, a low-carbon version of 316, offers superior corrosion resistance, especially in marine and chloride-rich environments. 316L stainless steel coil is available in cold-rolled (high surface quality and strength) and hot-rolled (cost-effective with excellent toughness) forms.
